i'm no the big pve expert around here, but i hear wild blow does wonders, and so does aegis. blind should work i thought as well...
and considering the amount of players that beat the game, 'impossible' is incorrect at least... |

If you mean the last mission in Factions, I think its one of the easiest missions in the game to get Masters on.
So definately not impossible. Raisu, on the other hand. Hated getting Masters for that! |

If you're speaking of the nightfall mission where you have to fight shiro, then I agree it's tough if you don't know what to expect.
First time I went through the mission, shiro wiped the floor with my entire group in seconds because I wasn't expecting his skill 'impossible odds'. Second attempt, I made my heroes spread out and had one of them use blinding surge and empathy while my dervish stance tanked him and shiro went down easy. |

Most people have a hard time on shiro simply from trying to do a ton of damage a once and then not removing battle scars. Wild blow is recommended for that reason. Impossible odds spreads conditions but he only uses it below 50%. I recommend spoil victor from a necro to deal a heap of damage to him at one time. If you feel like taking a leecher for a guaranteed victory there's a necro build floating around that can solo shiro
*cough* |

I did it in a PUG, 2 monks, a Tank, Ele and others.
The first thing we did was got the tank on him holding aggro + one Monk dedicated to keeping the tank alive. The rest of us took out the Lich and then went and capped the shrines. Once that was done, we came back and finished off Shiro. Playing a Me/N, I used SS + Empathy on him. With that and everything else my group was throwing at him, He didn't last long. |

If you go to the Elona Explorer Section you will see a thread dedicated to this topic. And to be honest there are several viable way to do this mission. But, since you mention you are having trouble getting into a group I will give you a quick tip that I think applies to your situation.
Kill the Lich, and clear the other rooms before targeting Shiro, save him for last. Your monks will be able to heal through his damage if you don't attack him. This of him as an annoying gnat for this part of the mission. Once it is down to you vrs Shiro, you can use things such as Spoil Victor, Empathy, Wild Blow etc. But most importantly make certain to keep your heros/henchies spread so Shiro can only dmg one person at a time. Oh yeah, patience and careful pulling also helps when solo'ing missions. |
